BrInging 50+ Years of Combined Experience

I had a 1963 Split window Corvette, non original motor with automatic power glide. It was in good condition but I knew I wanted to drive it more than I had been. I went to 5 custom builders and luckily one of my neighbors recommended Shift Speed Shop. I met with Travis one of the owners numerous times to get it quoted right. At the time I wanted A/C, 4 wheel disc brakes, new wiring, heat shielding for the interior, weatherstripping and my oil leaks fixed which included pulling the engine. Once I got the quote, I changed course and added a LS 480 HP, Tremec 5 speed transmission, Dakota Digital gauges, power brakes, Posi traction, Ride Tech Suspension, Stainless exhaust with Borla mufflers, Al Knock carpet, wheels and tires. During the build the team at Shift consistently kept me informed sending me pictures weekly. I live close by so visited the shop often. With their experience they would recommend things to me that they thought I should do. Upon discussion they were right every time. They were very willing to show me what they wanted to do so I could make the correct decision. Mikie the other owner did the exhaust which is a piece of art. The whole team, Travis, Mikie, Ryan, Cody, Lauren, Jason and Dave were excellent to work with and are truly artists in their profession. My build was about 5 months during that time I saw numerous vehicles in their shop that you could see the quality and skill of their build. Taking your projects there you won’t be disappointed. Great team to work with.

Shift Speed Shop did a great job at transforming my OBS with a 4/6 drop on US Mags. Ryan was excellent at listening and developing a plan to deliver great results and stayed in constant communication with me throughout the process. Shop owner, Travis, was also very engaged. Highly recommend this team for their communication, craftsmanship, knowledge, quality and attention to detail. I could not be more pleased! 10 stars!
